Salary: £21,000.00 - £26,000.00 per annum
We are recruiting an Operations Assistant in Barnsley on behalf of UKAT. They are a leading provider of addiction treatment in the UK, offering a range of services to support individuals on their journey to recovery. Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be working closely with the head of performance and compliance. Supporting and assisting with the operational planning and implementation of objectives for the group. Covering a wide range of administrative duties the role will be instrumental in helping achieve the operational objectives. We are looking for a well-motivated, positive and solution-focused individual to join a successful and established team. A can-do attitude is essential.
To manage administrative and clerical duties for the Head of Performance and Compliance. To manage, support and assist with key responsibilities for the Head of Performance and Compliance.
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID IN-DATE DBS AND BE ON THE UPDATE SERVICE.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain office files and records.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Provide support to the management team.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Assist in the coordination of events and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
28 Days paid holiday a year. Increasing over 5 years to 33 Days.
40hrs per week Monday – Friday

Essential Experience
- Minimum of Grade C in GCSE English and Mathematics (or equivalent qualification)
- Previous experience in administration
- Confidence to work on own initiative
- Strong team player and interpersonal skills plus must be comfortable to work on own.
- Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving. Solution focused.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple demands
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel Essential and Outlook or Google Suite versions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the role
- Ability to engage in continuous professional development
- Ability to have an appreciation of and work effectively with people from a diverse background
