Support Worker
We are looking for talented care professionals to support our growing team in making a difference to people’s lives. We do this by providing the highest standard of person-centred care and support, to help people lead a purposeful life and maintain their independence.
Our carers, support staff and nurses offer support with mealtimes, personal care, and activities but they also do so much more than this. We are looking for team members who understand the importance of getting to know a person holistically and who recognise the importance of this and as such, see the importance of accurate recordings, good communication and teamwork with the focussed outcome of better lives for people.
Key responsibilities:
A people person:
Naturally supportive and great at communicating. Able to build strong relationships and empathise. Finds it easy to integrate within an established team of healthcare professionals.
Caring by nature:
Are you enthusiastic about person-centred support and what this means fundamentally? Has a genuine passion for making people’s lives better and more fulfilled.
Great team player:
Do you work well in a team of likeminded people? Are you a team player?
Adaptable:
Health and social care is fast paced, can you think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Face to face Moving and Handling of People Certificate
- 6 Month’s UK experience working in a professional care home
- Rota work and only suitable for someone able to follow a rota pattern as set by the service.
