- Provide person-centred care to residents, including personal care, emotional support, and companionship
- Support junior care staff, lead by example and maintain high standards of care
- Administer medications
- Communicate with healthcare professionals and family members where appropriate
- Maintain clear and accurate care records
- Ensure a safe and respectful care environment at all times
Key responsibilities:
- 6+ months recent experience working as a Senior Healthcare Assistant or similar role
- Confidence in leading or mentoring junior staff
- Up-to-date Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred
- Reliable, compassionate, and flexible approach to work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mandatory training certificates (we can help if renewals are needed)
