Early Years Practitioner
Cucumber Recruitment are seeking passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Support Staff to provide high-quality temporary and flexible support across early years settings throughout the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work flexibly across multiple nurseries, supporting children’s development and learning in safe, nurturing environments.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the daily running of nursery rooms, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times.
- Work collaboratively with permanent nursery teams and management.
- Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS requirements.
Requirements
To meet compliance for this role, you must have:
Experience working with children (essential – must be supported by a reference).
Two references, including one from a children’s service.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one).
Full CV from school with no gaps.
Right to Work documentation.
Visa Check (if applicable).
Photo ID and Proof of Address.
Safeguarding Level 3 certificate.
Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
