Even an experienced care home worker can feel overwhelmed at times. If you find yourself feeling constantly stressed, here are some things you can do to combat that stress.
• Change the way you think and start being more positive in the way you look at things. While work pressure definitely has a role to play when it comes to stress, negative thinking can also impact you. You may have very little control over external pressures, but you do have control over how you react to them. The simple fact is that stress is always cumulative- you may feel that you are managing it well but over time begin to feel that you are unable to manage it.
